Italian Inlayed Music Box with one figure in the "Dying Swan" position. The musical movement is by Reuge of Switzerland; "SWAN LAKE or "WALTZ of the FLOWERS". The box is stained red with several layers of clear Lacquer. It has solid brass feet and a lock and key on the front. The inside is velvet lined with the movement in one covered compartment, and another compartment for small pieces of jewelry. 6 1/2" x 5" x 3". Click on photo for larger view.
